Then once i launched the game in the new emulator, the memory card loaded fine.i played up to the ending and managed to save at the post game prompt without the mem card corruptingīizarely, i had tried these exact same steps without going to a different freshly installed emulator version, and while it worked up to the end, right at the post game prompt, the mem card would always corrupt and leave me stuck again.ġ) shining force exa simply has this issue with version 1.7 where trying to save at the post game prompt will ALWAYS corrupt your mem card, even with the auto eject uncheked.Ģ) its not related to version, but once the issue happens once, it is serious enough to completely screw over your emulator somehow, to the point where you need to go to a newly installed one to fix it. i then unchecked "auto eject memory card" in the new emulator so what did was.i loaded a previous save state at a point where the memory card works without corrupting, saved ingame, copied that memory card file into a totally different freshly installed version of PCSX2 (different version too, 1.5). Just unchecking the auto eject didnt work.
